the check-in process was an abysmal experience, with the staff being rude, and I felt completely overlooked. A welcome gift would have been nice, especially after witnessing their appalling behavior. And don’t even get me started on the showers, those stained curtains were absolutely disgusting. I almost thought I could give a good review, but just couldn’t.

Good intentions, flawed execution
The service was welcoming , and the breakfast spread was enjoyable, thanks to the attentive staff who catered to our requests.
Unfortunately, check-in felt chaotic , and cleanliness issues, such as the presence of ants, detracted from the overall experience.

excellent access to local parks and historical landmarks
During my stay, I loved how easy it was to walk to nearby attractions like the Bureau County Soldiers and Sailors Monument just 2.5 km away and the beautiful Red Covered Bridge, which is nearly 3 km away, making my weekend city strolls so enjoyable and memorable. plus, the hotel’s welcoming atmosphere felt like a second home with friendly service and the indoor pool was a perfect spot to relax after my adventures.

pool area, complimentary cookie service, engaging staff interactions
Check-in procedures need some serious organization!!! The hot water situation seems inconsistent, making showers less enjoyable!!! Also, the vending machines could really use card payment options to accommodate all guests!!!

During our stay, we appreciated the variety of options at breakfast. The server was especially pleasant and patient with the kids as they navigated their choices. However, check-in felt disorganized, and the staff lacked friendliness, which was disappointing. The cleanliness of the showers left something to be desired, as the curtains were visibly stained. Despite these issues, the overall experience was decent.
